Welcome the the Phoenix Historic District part of our website. Historic Phoenix is nestled in and around the Downtown and Central Phoenix. Each historic district has its own unique style and appeal. Vintage Homes range from charming 800 square foot bungalows to luxurious Spanish Colonials sprawling over 5000 square feet. These "one-of-a-kind" properties beg to be lived in, loved and cherished. Some have panoramic views of downtown or Central Avenue high rises. Others sit quietly on a block of mature trees, flowers and solitude. All of these homes make up an area with distinctively different architecture and most importantly, a sense of place and belonging. There is so much information here that we thought we would provide a quick navigational lesson...Like all Google Maps, you can toggle between map, satilite, terrain views by clicking the associated icon in the upper right of the map.
You can access any district directly by clicking the appropriate link on the left. However, if you are interested in locations of districts, then you can hover your mouse over any of the shaded areas and "click". This will provide you with the name of the district, along with a historical snapshot. Then, if you want more, you can simply click on the "zoom" button and a new window will open to allow you to puruse that district. Oh, you can move any of the maps around by holding your left mouse button and dragging the map.
