I have always been weary of dealing with a realtor because of their lack of work ethic, attention to detail, and showing properties that are not conducive to my needs, hence wasting both of our times. When I decided to buy a home in Scottsdale to be closer to my family, I enlisted 5 realtors to look for home for me. Because I was flying in from Los Angeles for only 4 days to find a home, and I did not know the realtors, I expected my time would be wasted with most of them. I was correct except for you. If I had known your high level of character and abilities, I could have saved a lot of time by dealing only with you. Unlike the other realtors, you reviewed applicable neighborhoods, and physically pre-viewed each and every home before we went to see it. When you picked me up, you had a package for me of each home which you thought would meet my requirements, and had planned our driving route to utilize our time.
Although we did not find my “dream home”, I had confidence in your skills and abilities. So, when you called me 4 days later, and told me that you had found my future home, I was confident enough with you to spend $450,000 on a home that I had never seen. And you were correct, everything I could have dreamed for was in this home!
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention your support group. Chris, your assistant, takes great pride in making sure things go smoothly during the paperwork process…even going above and beyond by helping coordinate tradesmen for renovations.
By getting to know my wants, needs, and goals personally during the purchase process, you took the initiative to investigate and uncover some investment properties that you thought I might be interested in. As before, you did not waste my time with properties that would not interest me. All of them had what a real estate investor is looking for….good cash flow, potential appreciation, and an easily marketable rental property. Within 30 days, you were able to close on one of these properties with only 10% down, and you had it rented with a 2-year lease at a $500 per month positive cash flow. Based on comps in the area, I believe it will also appreciate at 10% per year as well. Based on this deal, I would appreciate you looking for more of them.
As before, your and your people were great. I know we will continue this relationship and friendship for many years to come. It seems the sale of our home in Peoria went like clockwork, but the purchasing of the new home was quite a challenge. Thank goodness you were there to step up to bat when things got a little crazy.

The purchase of our home was not only completed by a couple going through a particularly nasty divorce, but many other situations arose as the process went on. You went out of your way to try to make the communication process work smoothly, not only with another realtor, but with the owners of the property themselves. You were willing and able to chase down the owners of the property wherever they were, to sign documents needed to proceed with the sale.
To make matters worse, as the closing date grew nearer, the owners left their family pet (a large Pit Bull dog had been left alone for months) at the residence. So once again you came to the rescue. You coordinated the removal of this potential vicious animal with the local animal shelter and police department. You waited until the proper authorities arrived to take possession of the dog. This in itself was a very difficult ordeal. The list goes on with quite a few other “little” snags, which we feel if left to the realtor selling the property would still not be done. If it were not for you, we wouldn’t have this beautiful home. You were very meticulous when it came to all the paperwork involved, and goodness knows there is enough of that!! You were always returning calls and giving updates in a timely manner.

After only a few weekends of house touring, we found the perfect house. I had started my search with the expectation that I would have to get a town home in order to meet my criteria of having a newer home in my price range. The house we found was in my price range, an eight year old detached home, and located in the middle of a quiet and nicely laid out community.
I greatly appreciate Rick's diligence throughout the remainder of the process. He followed up on every detail from ensuring the loan process was going well to urging the seller's realtor to do their part in a timely manner. Rick was always available to offer his advise and answer questions.

My name is Joyce Kramer, daughter of Richard Barkdoll, and I recently was introduced to Becky Feola, assisted living advisor and placement specialist. Recently we, (my family) were forced to make a difficult decision concerning our father. With trying to take care of our aging father and give him the best care possible, we had to accept that we could not give the 24 – 7 care that he was needing.
Becky was a god send to us, in helping with our difficult decision, with showing us different assisted living quarters and just helping us with our own emotional needs in this transition.
I am happy to say that our father has adjusted very well, and his care givers are truly very special people. It is easy to see that they really care about what they do.
